Trade on Sports has now been operating in its current state for just over 12 months.
We offer a number of services and over the next few blog pieces I will look to outline who we are and the service we provide and how current and potential members can benefit from the information and applications provided.
The service began when we collaborated to combine Pete Nordsted’s Ratings & Bets service which was established in 2013, along with Matt Haynes Trade on Tennis service which was established in 2016.
Our tech guy Stephen Mills develops the applications and as of today we have Two apps for the Tennis (Silver & Gold) and Two Apps for the Football (Game State & Pre Match to In Play).
The aim of the service is to provide both Sports Bettors & traders with the tools and information to beat the bookmakers.
Firstly, there are Five Elements to the Service which can either be purchased separately as a separate sport or all together under the Platinum package
Ratings & Bets (£15/4 week cycle) or FREE with any Trade on Football / Tennis product.
If you don’t have the time to dedicate to trading, then this service could be for you. This service provides straight bets that you can place with any bookmaker or exchange.
Over the past few years, Trade on Sports have devised a ratings system for several sports (NFL / MLB / NHL / Football)
These ratings compare the Trade on Sports Ratings to the opening prices offered at Pinnacle and other leading Sports Books.
We have now carried these ratings out for 5 years on the NHL (Ice Hockey), 4 years on the MLB (Baseball) and 2 years on the NFL (American Football). Football Ratings started in October 2016.
The idea behind comparing the ratings to the opening prices, is that by following this disciplined approach we can analyse the results and look for any potential profitable trends. As time goes by and we collect more data then more trends will become apparent
When combing the results since 2014 the service has given the following
2039 Bets, +165.52 pts (8.12% ROI)
On Laying to win 1 pt. 72.53 pts staked + 9.20 pts (12.68% ROI)
Staking to £20 a point this would have left you with a profit of £3494.40
Trade on Tennis
There are two elements to this service.

Trade on Tennis Silver
The goal of this service is to teach members how to trade tennis. On joining all members receive the Trade on Tennis Trading Manual and all members get access to the Telegram Trading Room.
Head trader Matt Haynes runs the trading rooms and is available in the rooms to give any advice.
Many people initially join the service to learn how to trade tennis. This discipline in itself can take some time to master and we would certainly recommend that you take your time by reading through the manual and then look to master one strategy at a time.
Also we suggest that whilst you are learning these strategies that you are trading to minimal stakes until you get used to how the market reacts to certain situations.
Whilst you are familiarising yourself with the skills required to trade the tennis, there is another aspect to the service from which you can potentially profit.
LAYING THE RED SELECTIONS
Matt uses his own data model based on serve and hold stats to rate the players and find value in their current price. A list of matches is emailed daily and the players with greatest value are labelled red selections (to show lay value) or blue selections (to show back value)
To begin with we recommend Laying the Red selections to win 1 pt. We advise this above laying to a fixed liability. As you are then risking a proportion of your bank which is in line with the odds on offer.
For example if you are laying a selection priced at 1.50 for £20 then you are risking £10 to win £20 and if you are laying a 1.25 selection for £20 then you are risking £5 to win £20
(You can work out how much you are risking by multiplying the amount you are laying by the figure after the point. So if you are laying £20 at 1.50 you multiply 20 by 0.5 20 x .5 =10)
So in the above example over 2 bets you are risking £15 to win a possible £40.
Some people choose to lay to a fixed liability of £20. Which means that you are risking £20 on every selection. So, if you are risking £20 on a 1.50 selection to find out how much you have to lay to risk £20 you divide £20 by .50.
So £20 divided by 0.5 equals £40 and if you are risking £20 on a 1.25 selection £20 divided by .25 equals £80. So you lay the 1.50 selection for £40 and the 1.25 selection for £80.
So in the above example over 2 bets you are risking £40 to win a possible £120
We certainly recommend that members elect to use the first option of laying to win 1pt as in the second example you are risking the SAME amount on opposing a 66.66% chance (1.50) and a 80.00% (1.25)
By laying to 1pt you are always staking in proportion to the odds on offer.
Also laying to fixed amount can take a real toll on your betting bank. Here you are opposing odds on selections so losing runs are common.
For example If you have a £500 betting bank and you are laying to a £20 liability and you have layed 10 x 1.40 selections for £20 liability and all 10 go on to lose then you are down £200 leaving your betting bank down to £300.
If you lay Ten 1.40 selections to win £20 then you are risking £8 a bet and after ten losers you are only down £80 leaving £420 in your betting bank.
Sometimes betting is about staying in the game and bank protection is paramount here.
Also if betting to a liability you can be emotionally all over the place with the peaks and troughs throughout the season and these swings can test even the most hardened of gamblers.

Trade on Football

Gold Service also has its own inplay scanner that shows Shots On Target, dangerous attacks, indicators when the match is hot etc and also shows Shots in the box that several other scanners do not show. When combined with the prematch stats you could find matches with a high percent of late goals historically and get involved if the match is showing some goal mouth action.
At the moment in the Gold Telegram Rooms we are BETA testing a number of strategies.
We have the 1st Half Strat Room and the PMTIP Room. The First Half Strat Room looks at games where there is the likelihood of a first half goal and the PMTIP Room looks at matches where there is likely to be a further 2 goals scored in the second half given the first half score line.
Now it should be remembered that at this moment in time we are BETA testing these strategies so some of you may want to ignore these 2 rooms until we are in a position to advise that you follow the findings.
Trade on Football Silver Service (£25.00 per 4 week cycle)
The Trade on Football Silver service is essentially the Game State App where we are looking how a game will unfold after the scoring of the opening goal. We look back at 5 years stats for the league to see what happened in similar scenarios when a goal was scored in a specific time band. This led to the development of the very popular HT overs BOT describe below
Here we do have a very solid strategy and the Telegram Bot is a must have.

gPlus = 89.29 this means looking back over the last 5 seasons in the Superettan when 0-1 at half time there has been a 89.29% chance of a further goal
gPlusAt70 = 81.25 this means looking back over the last 5 seasons in the Superettan when 0-1 at half time there has been a 81.25% chance of a further goal after 70 minutes.
Here we advise either drip feeding or backing Over 1.5 goals inplay when the price reaches 1.60.
Up to the 18th of April the bot has given out 338 Alerts of which 144 didn’t reach the 1.60 entry point.
194 reached the 1.60 price, 141 won and 53 Lost and if you were to bet to 10.50 stakes which includes commission you would be in profit by £315.21 which equates to £1.62 per game and a very healthy 15.47% return on investment
