Here is something that I have picked up over the weekend.
My criteria were as follows
Looking at laying the away side where there is an 80pt profit or above.
The maximum lay price would be 6/1 (7.00)
Now over the weekend this has bought up 17 selections to which we have had 17 winners. See details below
In theory the selection process looks good we are laying an outsider who is not expected to win and looking at previous results the oddsmakers have overestimated the away teams’ chance of winning the match.
Now just to recap when going through the matches we are analysing how the league has performed at these price points and how the 2 teams have performed at this price point, and this then gives out the total points.
What should also be noted that these points are quoted as laying to win 1 point.
I personally would not recommend any novice to follow this laying to win 1 point as a few losers could seriously not only dent your bank but can seriously erode your confidence and your ability to see the strategy through.
There will be those who this risk v reward does not unduly worry them. However, these people are normally seasoned punters who have a bank big enough to ride through the losing runs.
Personally, I would suggest laying to risk 1 point. The difference is obviously large but after a losing run you should still be very much in the game.
In this weekends scenario you would have won 6pts as opposed to 17pts. As previously stated the difference is large. However this was a good weekend and if you are a relatively new trader/bettor it is essential that you not only stay in the game but you keep a healthy mindset.
Another advantage of following a strategy like this is it is very easy to set up and you can place your bets at the beginning of the day and forget about them until the next day. So, you are not tied to a computer screen all day.
